Field Notes, Yonkers to Albany

I’m parked at a text stop off I-87 and I can’t stop crying. It’s a beautiful day. I haven’t been home in six weeks.

Everyone I know can’t figure out what to do with me. Everyone I hate lives in San Francisco. Everywhere I go is a homecoming. Everyday feels like my birthday.

Well, there’s always Woodstock!
